The lighthouse of Hirtshals is a nice destination and more or less the landmark of Hirtshals. Since my early childhood I remember the regular vacations in Hirtshals and the ferry that goes from Hirtshals to Norway. It was and is every time a fantastic experience and the lighthouse I visit every time anew. Below the lighthouse are many bunkers from WW2. For a small donation you can also go up to the lighthouse and get a wonderful view of the small harbor town.
